Job responsibilities include:

Builds relationships with potential customer’s IT & Tax DepartmentPerforms extensive needs analysis and client contact before product demonstration.Performs focused product demonstrations.Responds to RFPs with great detail and professionalism.Assists sales managers/sales reps in preparation of proposals.Answers one-off questions from potential customers.Maintains and continually upgrades technical understanding of products.Provides technical leadership and ensures technical issues are resolved.Work with Product Management to enhance solution offering and provide feedback and direction from the field.Visit customers and develop relationships to provide insight and value-add stories to the sales cycle.Work closely with Professional Services to sell services and provide detailed Statements of Work.May provide work leadership to more junior technical support staff.Travels within assigned territory as required.Ensures recruitment and training of staff to achieve business objectivesProvides guidance and leadership on performance management and employee development.Coaches, mentors and develops the Solution Specialists team.Ensures that all team members work efficiently to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management and/or AccountingProven experience of Tax Solutions presales and/or implementationsProven experience of pre-sales systems engineering experience directly supporting complex sales engagements; selling a solution spanning multiple departments in a company and requiring their approval.ERP experience – preference to candidates with hands-on experience with one of the major ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.) especially in Procure-to-Pay and/or Order-to-Cash processes and respective modules.The ideal candidate has worked for a company that provides a complementary bolt-on product for a major ERP platform.Implementation experience is a bonus.Special skills and knowledge requirements:

Demonstrated ability to communicate highly technical concepts and processes to the “common person”Excellent knowledge of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay business operationsDemonstrated ability to resolve complex pre-sales technical problems, working with field sales personnel.Demonstrated ability to present technical concepts in clear manner to customers through demos and proposalsExcellent and professional writing, editing, and communication skills are requiredAbility to work externally and internally with all levels of the organization
