Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test and integrate new and existing software, ensuring that it meets business requirements. Produce technical documentation. Review work of peers and junior developers. Actively participate in all aspects of agile development methodologies. Develop complete regression and unit test cases to make sure components are tested rigorously in an automated fashion.

Essential Skills:

Experience with:

Java 7 and/or 8, and associated frameworks (JUnit, JPA and Spring);

Web Services (REST / SOAP);

Relational databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL) and non-SQL databases (elasticsearch and Mongo DB);

ETL tools and processes;

Apache Camel;

Application server Tomcat;

Cloud development experience (AWS preferred);

Familiarity with Agile methodology, TDD and BDD;

Code version control: GIT;

Ability to troubleshoot and investigate problems in a timely manner. Experience with Micro Services;
